Beetlenut (Union Street in Cow Hollow) - Asian fusion….tapas. Always a good crowd. Great Mojitos….and steamed chicken buns
Rose's Cafe (Union and Pierce) - great casual place for a glass of wine (great selection) and gourmet pizzas and salads...also good for brunch/breakfast. also has good outdoor seating
Slanted Door (Embarcadero close to Bay Bridge) - very affordable vietnamese place that is known for being one of the BEST restaurants in SF. It's on the water near the bay bridge. They have Yummy rice paper summer rolls.
Erics (26th and Church Street in Noe Valley) - Great and affordable fresh chinese place.
Jackson Fillmore (at Jackson and Fillmore) - Awesome neighborhood Italian place. Very affordable.
Butterfly (Embarcadero close to Wharf) - Asian Tapas, Jazz music right on the water. Trendy and hip. Good food but sometimes a little loud.
Ace Wasabi (Marina - Steiner between Chestnut and Lombard) - Great sushi and always a good crowd
Tomassos (1042 Kearny in North Beach) - Best Pizza in SF!
Kokkari (200 Jackson) - on the expensive side but absolutely worth it. Great bar. Excellent selection of wines. Good for happy hour as well.
Plumpjack Café - (Fillmore at webster) on the expensive side but amazing food, excellent wine ( they own a winery in napa) and top service

Mexican (Cow Hollow: Walk In Mexican place on Webster at Union) - awesome burritos and mexican to grab and take down to the
Marina
Marina Sub (Sandwiches) - (Cow Hollow: Union and Pierce) - great warm sandwiches....with fresh whole avacados...also great to grabbing and taking down to the marina or the goldengate bridge.
Frozen Yogurt - Liquor Shop on the corner of (Cow Hollow: Filmore and Union) has the BEST frozen yogurt in the world. Get Vanilla Custard!!
Mario's Cigar Bar - (North beach: 566 Columbus at Union) has the most amazing turkey foccacia sandwiches served open faced and hot.
Breakfast:
Union Street Cafe (East of Laguna on Union...north side of street) - divy breakfast place on Union that we went to with good omlettes and pancakes. i think this was the name and it is close to Charlies and the great clothing store called Ambiance (to the east of Laguna Street on Union)
Savor (24th Street in Noe Valley) - great breakfast place with outdoor seating in the back
Miss Millie's (24th Street in Noe ) also great comfort food breakfast

- Bus Stop - (Laguna and Union in Cow Hollow) - Union Street - divy neighborhood bar…oldest in SF….great for college football
- Brazen Head (Marina 3166 Buchanan) - Quiet and cozy. Local pub and a best kept secret
- Mauna Loa Bar (Marina at 3009 Fillmore) - divy neighborhood bar with pool table, pin ball machines, tvs..good for watching the game
- Cosmos (Chestnut at Fillmore in the Marina Area) - good bar for happy hour / drinks
- The Matrix (Fillmore between Filbert and Greenwich in Cow Hollow) - trendy NY wanna be bar
- Dragon Bar (North beach on Broadway) - hip, great dance music
- Red Devil Lounge (Russian Hill) - great for live music…especially "Tainted Love"…local 80's cover band
- Silver Cloud (1994 Lombard in Marina) - karaoke. Need I say more?
- Kell's - (North Beach) - Irish pub, good music, good dancing, always a good crowd
- Le Colonial - (downtown 20 Cosmo Place) - great downtown bar. Awesome vietnamese food.
